5th Grade

Middle School


6th

Objectives:
  • Rehearse EE. Scales
  • Rehearse Winter Concert music
Warm-Up:
  • EE Pg. 40 F, Ab #1, 2

Music Rehearsal:
  1. The Sound and the Fury
    1. Isolate passages between flute and clarinets
    2. Reinforce slurred melody lines in alto sax and trumpet
    3. Isolate trumpet solo section
    4. Focus on dynamics in the opening section

    1. Reinforce key signature with trumpets
    2. Isolate the four measure repeated section with 3/4 and 2/4
