Dec. 5-9 Happenings

5th Band

Objectives:

  • Continue weekly lessons
  • Reinforce class expectations and procedures
  • Rehearse Jingle, Jolly, Chirstmas
  • Continue working through EE Exercises
  1. Begin on EE Pg. 9
    • Play Notes in Review (Quarter and Eighth Notes)
    • Continue playing forward in EE beginning with #33
    • Refresh on key and time signatures
    • Rehearse #38, isolating percussion parts
    • Rehearse #8 Four by Four
    • Rehearse Jingle, Jolly, Christmas
      • Identify different parts between low voices, high voices, and percussion
      • Refresh on multi-measure rests
      • Perform in sections
Middle School

6th Grade Band
